Founder
As the founder and president of MTN, Walter Wood’s marketing and advertising experience spans decades. It began with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Florida. Later, he started MTN and — for the first 20 years of our company’s growth — Wood was the primary copywriter and creative director, working with the art team on all concept development and artistic execution. Today, Walter’s primary focus is still working as part of the concept development team for new projects, but with a renewed focus on business development and cultivating relationships, specifically within the natural gas industry and Brevard County’s Save Our Indian River Lagoon Advocacy Program. Walter’s 30-plus years of involvement with natural gas has made him a recognized consultant and advocate for numerous organizations, including the Florida Natural Gas Association (FNGA), where he served as part of the marketing committee, convention committee, and as a general advocate for the Natural Gas Industry. “Recognizing the market opportunities (energy/space/healthcare) has helped us focus our energy in the right direction,” Walter says.
