Partner, Senior Strategy Director
After graduating with a Bachelor’s in advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida, Joanie has spent more than 15 years working with clients across multiple sectors, with a concentration in energy and health care. As a Partner and Senior Strategy Director, she manages MTN’s client relations, project management and digital teams. Joanie diligently works to keep the agency at the forefront of digital innovation; an essential company initiative as the industry is constantly evolving and new mediums and channels are being introduced. She’s managed multiple award-winning, large-scale marketing campaigns and website projects. A big-picture thinker, Joanie enjoys the challenge of identifying the strategic components necessary to achieve client marketing goals and ROI. Her role includes mapping out comprehensive strategic planning for both digital and traditional marketing initiatives, media buy planning, and providing key input on content builds and creative direction. She’s personally invested in her clients’ successes, as she’s worked with many of the same clients for more than a decade. “We work so closely with our clients,” Joanie says. “A key benefit of our role with clients is that we often become not only collaborative partners, but also lifelong friends.”
Outside of work, Joanie enjoys spending quality time at family gatherings with her two children, Alex and Samantha, (and 12 siblings!). She also spends weekends exploring and cycling old Florida rail trails and other outdoor activities.
